This is more than just a race - it's a day of events to support our local hospice, Severn Hospice, and our town, and for you to come and have a superb day with us in glorious South Shropshire!

There's a 12k race in the morning which starts and finishes inside Ludlow Castle, £12 to enter (we're only accepting online entries, which you can do here).

We’ve had to slightly alter our course so now the race is almost entirely on road, excepting a bit which is more like hard core, a rougher track kinda surface. The official course measurement - which was measured by us, so not an independent one - is 12,388 metres, so it’s a fraction over 12k. Or as we like to call it, 12k-ish.

The race starts at 10am.

In the afternoon, and while the race is on, we are hosting FitFest inside the castle, with outdoor mass Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, archery, plenty to interest the family, book signings and superb speakers; check that out in the FitFest link above.

Then. when we shut down at 4pm, we get ready for the evening event - Comedy in the Castle. Top comedians, a wonderful venue, an evening of laughter and music in the open surroundiungs of Ludlow Castle's outer bailey.
